FAQS

Why do you have Fire Groups?

Fire Groups are where community, accountability and doing a journey with others happens. We chat, we pray, we worship, we support each other, we laugh. Questions like 'How are things with you and God?' come up all the time. During the week WhatsApp groups for each Fire Group are filled with testimonies of what God is doing and prayer requests. This is where family happens.

What’s the difference between church and the Fire Group meetings?

Sunday Church and corporate gatherings are amazing for unity as a family and for encountering God together as the body of Christ. We really believe in the important of gathering together as a family to worship and encounter God. It's hard to build strong relationships in the middle of a corporate meeting and so our Fire Groups are where family is built. They are places where you can have time to chat, get to know people and open up in a safe environment.

Where are the Fire Groups and how do I join one?

All over the city and beyond! We have a big spread out family and so we have many groups spread out in different location. Check out the maps above for your nearest location, if you don't have one near you drop us an email at firegroups@ctflondon.com

What if I don’t like my group, can I change groups?

We'd always recommend checking out a group and seeing how it feels. If it doesn't seem like a good fit speak to your fire-group leader and if it's right we can look at other groups near your area.

Are all the groups the same or do they differ with each leader?

All of our Fire Groups leaders carry the DNA of the church. Our FIRE Values are who we are and so you will experience them in all of our groups. The groups all follow the same teaching plan but each group has its own style and flavour!

Will you be planting one in my area soon?

We are constantly looking at planting new groups across the city and beyond. We will try and determine if there is a need in a particular area and then look to finding leaders and a venue in that area - God always provides!

Can I run a Fire Group?

If you would like to apply to lead a group drop us a message at firegroups@ctflondon.com. We will ask for a pastoral reference from a ministry leader or your current Fire Group leader as a first step. We would not encourage anyone is has just joined the church to apply to lead a group. Settle in, feel part of family first and then drop us a message!

Can I host a group but not run one...?

Yes! Just email us at firegroups@ctflondon.com and let us know where you are. If there is a pressing need for a group in that area we'll let you know.

Do I need to be in a Fire Group to be a 'member' of CTF London

Family is huge for us and so building relationship, us getting to know you, you getting to know us is the first step. To be a member of Catch The Fire London involves committing to Sunday Church, being part of a Fire Group, tithing and serving.
